Did you spend time going to Olchfa Youth Club in the 70's
Olchfa youth club was opened in 1969 and ran for around 7 years.
It was open everynight of the week Monday to Friday from 6pm til 9pm.
Hey Remember that old fella, he was the first youth leader we had. Mike Powell. He was at the club from 1969/73, bumped into him this week "Yes he's still alive. haha". more to come about him soon.
Anyway everyone made full use of the facilities.
which included........ Football, Swimming, Hairdressing, Photography, Art/Craft, Dance, Snooker/Pool, Disco's, Outings or just relax in the coffee bar watching T.V, play space invader's, the jukebox or just chat.
In a nutshell it was the only place to be during the week.
